Quantum Software Park

Sub-project 2 of the Sustainable Quantum Ecosystem: the route by which an organisation reaches quantum capability without first building a quantum team.

The problem it addresses

Most organisations that could benefit from quantum and quantum-inspired computation cannot justify hiring a quantum team to find out. The expertise is scarce, the hardware is remote, the tooling changes every few months, and the honest expected value of any single project is uncertain. So nothing happens — not because the technology is useless, but because the entry cost is wrong.

What it provides

A shared software and tooling environment — maintained, current, and usable without assembling it from scratch.
Access to compute — gate-model and annealing hardware, simulators and classical HPC, with the scheduling handled.
Formulation support — the scarce skill is not running the solver, it is casting the problem correctly in the first place.
Training — short courses for engineering teams who need working knowledge rather than a degree.
A route into the research base — problems that turn out to be genuinely hard become research projects rather than dead ends.

Who it is for

Thai industry, government agencies, and research groups in other faculties and universities who have a computational problem and no reason to build quantum capability of their own.

Status

The Quantum Software Park is a proposed programme within the Sustainable Quantum Ecosystem, not yet an operating service. An organisation that wants to take part while it is being established should write to the centre; in the meantime the same work can be done as a direct project — see Work with us.
